Kempinski is a great hotel, very well positioned compared to some other high-end resorts. It's very close to the airport and all the main attractions, while also being right by the beach, so you have the best of both worlds. The staff is very kind, polite, and helpful. The breakfast caters to every taste. My only regret is not having spent more time at the hotel, as I was always on day tours!

I really liked the comfortable and spacious room with a handy walk-in closet, so you didn't have to clutter your living area with luggage. Pools were great, and we also enjoyed the restaurants on site. Finally, hats off for everyone working at the hotel. The staff was not only attentive and helpful but also genuinely welcoming and friendly. Thank you, and I hope to come back soon!

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms were lovely, even had a birthday cake in our room on arrival. The pool was very nice and the staff around the pool were very efficient & friendly, always found you a sun-lounger and everyone got a cool bag with several bottles of water. The breakfast was perfect with lots of choice each morning. The front of house staff were very helpful, even found a tiny screwdriver to fix my husbands sun glasses.Lovely big bathroom with a gorgeous shower and luxury toiletries, would 100% recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic time at Kempinski - the room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The facilities were amazing - would recommend the yoga class and the tennis court was also well kept. The pool areas were amazing! The staff were very attentive and helpful with towels, drinks etc. The poolside menu however, could be better with more options. The Spanish night buffet was delicious - great selection of fresh food. The hotel is very close to the airport and marina (good if you want to do a day trip to Dayminyat islands). However, quite an expensive cab ride if you want to go to old town and Muttrah. Our hotel driver Lukman was the best and always on hand! Overall a great stay!

The design of the hotel is beautiful, even more so at night. The Omani and international staff were very pleasant and helpful. The location of the hotel is easily accessible, with parking on the property and an ATM on site. Pool and beach access is within 5-7 minutes from the bedrooms. We visited in June, during Eid. It was monsoon season, but still very pleasant despite heat and a bit of rain. The complimentary food served daily to guests of the hotel in the main hotel lobby was excellent!

this is the hotel with probably the best breakfast we had in our life (and we have seen lots of hotels). It has 2 great pools, a Spa and sports facilities. The staff is super friendly, special shout-out to Monica, Evan and Daniel who hosted us for the Spanish evening. The food quality is that of an average European brasserie; but the portions are big like all portions you get in Oman.

The hotel is beautiful both inside and out. The rooms are very spacious and conformable and have luxurious bathrooms with bathtubs. The Kempinksi is known to us as a luxury hotel with excellent service, they really exceeded our expectations. Especially the staff is very attentive and friendly. Our special thanks goes out to Akif and Fiona from management, Rashid from the lobby and Evans and the evening dining staff. You have made our stay extra special. We'll be back! Very calm, two pools including one without children is a plus, the beach is amazing in front of the hotel. The restaurants are pretty good, amazing breakfast.
